  • 3. Take responsibility for what you post
  • 4. Don’t mix personal and business life
  • 5. Be respectful and exercise good judgement
  • 6. Don’t share confidential or proprietary information

    Christmas

The last PT tutorial to be dispatched this year will be sent out on 19th December, and will resume on 4 January 2012.

    Site Information

Personal Trainer is probably the most successful and innovative part of the SkillGate LMS environment. It makes learning a dynamic, daily occurrence for thousands of people (who probably did very little formal training before).

However, we do realise that delegates should decide themselves what training they want, and specifically turn off the tutorial delivery if they don''t wish to receive them.

Every Personal Trainer email contains a link to a settings page where they can set their requirements (and make suggestions).

If you are asked to change a delegate''s personal setting for them, you can do this also.

Go to Register (or PT Customise) in your navigation bar; click on [Personal Trainer]; select the user; and make the changes required.

    Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

In addition we have launched a new Certificate programme:

    Developing Others

The Certificate programme will be added to member sites free of charge shortly.

The Safeguarding programme can be licenced for unlimited use for £750 pa.

    PT Cusomise

You will find this new option on the navigation bar of your portal.

PT Customise allows you to calendarise the auto-dispatch of tutorials, so that you can create learning plans for groups of staff.

You may set the option as recommended or mandatory. Recommended works in the same way as current PT emails. Mandatory automatically registers delegates onto the tutorial and obliges them to complete it automatically.

Using the option you can quickly create groups of staff to create specialist set of learning over time (e.g. senior managers or new staff).
